RWT Hornegger & Thor GmbH: Innovation Meets Precision Since 1999.
RWT Hornegger & Thor GmbH was founded in 1999 by the two managing directors Hannes Hornegger and Reinhard Thor. Since then, the company has grown continuously to its current size of 30 employees.
In 2003, the move into a newly constructed production facility marked an important milestone in the company's history. This building offers 1,000 m² of production space and 200 m² of office space, significantly expanding capacities for production and administration. A further expansion took place in February 2014 when an extension was put into operation. This extension added an additional 800 m² of production space to the existing complex.

In 2023, the company experienced a significant development with the founding of RWT AG, which ushers in a new phase in the company's history and underscores its continuous growth and innovation.

Certified construction, development, and manufacturing at the highest level.
Manufacturing is carried out on modern CNC lathes, 5-axis machining centers with robotic handling systems, and up to a highly precise out-of-round grinding machine in an air-conditioned room.
Since its founding, the specialization has been in the high-quality manufacturing of parts. As of January 21, 2000, the company has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.
Measurements are taken on modern 3D measuring machines and measuring instruments. All ground parts are inspected with the company's own magnetic particle crack detection machine.
In our design and development department, there are three experienced, competent, and innovative employees. We work with Pro|ENGINEER, SolidWorks, GOelan, and hyperMILL.
Our constructions include devices, tools, molds, special machines, production and assembly lines, and engine and chassis parts.
We also offer product development according to special customer requests. From simple tools and gearbox calculations to engine design.

Our focus is on tool making, mold making, prototype construction, and assembly manufacturing. Furthermore, we produce modern engine components and precision parts on a contract manufacturing basis.
Our machinery is well equipped. State-of-the-art machines allow all facets of CNC machining as well as high-precision grinding work. Honing and finishing are the crowning touches.
