RWT Hornegger & Thor GmbH: Innovation meets precision since 1999.
The company RWT Hornegger & Thor GmbH was founded in 1999 by the two managing directors Hannes Hornegger and Reinhard Thor. Since then, the company has grown continuously to its current level of 30 employees.
In 2003, the move into a newly constructed production building marked an important milestone in the company’s history. This building offers 1000 m² of production space and 200 m² of office space, which considerably expanded the capacities for production and administration. A further expansion took place in February 2014, when an extension was put into operation. This building added an additional 800 m² of production space to the existing complex.
The RWT AG
In 2023, the company underwent a significant development with the founding of RWT AG, heralding a new phase in the company’s history and underlining its continuous growth and innovation.

Certified design, development and production at the highest level.
Production takes place on modern CNC lathes, 5-axis machining centers with robot handling systems and high-precision non-circular grinding machines in an air-conditioned room.
Since its foundation, the company has specialized in the production of parts at the highest level. The company has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 since 21.01.2000.
Measurements are taken on modern 3D measuring machines and measuring devices. All ground parts are tested using the company’s own magnetic particle crack testing machine.
Three experienced, competent and innovative employees work in our design and development department. Drawing is done on Pro|ENGINEER, SolidWorks, GOelan and hyperMILL.
Our designs include devices, tools, molds, special machines, production and assembly lines, engine and chassis parts.
We also offer product development according to special customer requirements. From simple tools to gearbox calculations and engine design.

We focus on toolmaking, mold making, prototyping and assembly production. We also manufacture modern engine components and precision parts on a contract basis.
Our machinery is well equipped. State-of-the-art machines allow all facets of CNC machining as well as high-precision grinding work. Honing and finishing are the crowning touches.
